Venture’s Prize Pooch 2013 winner is…

…Rylo from our Sheffield studio!

Impressing the judges the cute Pug from Rotherham and his owners Craig Howlett-Wright and David Birks have won an impressive array of doggy treats, including a year’s supply of dog food from Pedigree, £250 to spend on stylish accessories at Oscar & Hooch, a VIP tour of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and £500 to spend on pet ‘pawtrait’ products at Venture. Rylo’s photograph will also be displayed in Venture studios across the UK, US and Hong Kong as the ‘furry face’ of the brand.

Rachel Agnew, Venture Photography’s Head of Marketing, said “Rylo is a deserving winner who fought off some stiff competition to take the national Prize Pooch title. His winning portrait is superb and Rylo is such a striking dog with unusual and eye-catching colouring for his breed that he really stood out for us.”

Ali Taylor, Head of Canine Welfare at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, said “The Prize Pooch competition is a real celebration of families who cherish their pets, and Rylo is a deserved winner.”

Well done to Rylo and all our Prize Pooch 2013 finalists!
